What is Counselling?

A safe, confidential and compassionate holding space is provided in which to explore and help to resolve life challenges. Together with your counsellor, you will identify your desires and values, so that you can move towards a life where you know who you are and what's important and meaningful for you, to then be able to live your life as authentically as possible.

You will be offered support  as you engage in a process to resolve and explore desires, emotions and life challenges. This may help to improve relationships and transitions in life situations. It can help you build resilience and develop a deeper sense of Meaning , Purpose and Belonging.

How does it work?

Kevin's approach is based on his Person-Centred Therapy background, which is rooted in the premise that we all possess within us, the resources and capability to develop and improve our self awareness and self concept (how we see ourselves). Furthermore he integrates methods and techniques from different therapy models to address the unique needs of the client. In this process, your thoughts, feelings, desires, behaviours, as well as spirtitual needs are considered. Affirming the whole of the person is an essential aspect in the healing process.

You will be invited to explore what makes you who you are. This can involve identifying your values and limiting patterns in a supportive and non-judgemental way. You will be gently encouraged to reach your full potential.

What can it help you with?

Relationship transitions and difficulties

Loss of Meaning and Purpose in life

Experiencing Anxiety and Depression

Support to be with Grief and move beyond

Addressing adverse childhood experiences

Understanding and overcoming Addictions
